Affiliate Marketing With Wordpress
One great thing about WordPress is the fact that it's free. You have nothing upfront other than your hosting costs. This is great for people just getting started, but don't be fooled, WordPress is very powerful and can take your business from zero to hero in a short amount of time.
You do have a small investment upfront with your WordPress site. Your going to have to pay for hosting and your personal domain name. Hosting there are new about five or six dollars per month and your domain name is roughly about one dollar per month. Pretty cheap considering the power that has.
Keep in mind that we're talking about WordPress.org and not WordPress.com. WordPress.org is the files that you download and can host on your own personal server. Wordpress is very intuitive to use and you can create highly targeted niche content sites to market affiliate products or generate adsense income. I have set up an informative ecourse on using wordpress to create your own site and learn affiliate marketing from the ground up.
The best thing about WordPress that I like, is the fact that it is open source. That means that it is driven and grown by the members and developers who use it. Is there something the one done or automated, you can typically get someone to build a plug-in for you.
As your blog gets bigger and bigger, you may have to move to a dedicated server which will cost a little bit more per month. Still a pretty small price to pay for so much potential.
Also if you own your site to market from you don't have to worry about being banned or a site shutting down. I personally don't like to have my income reliant on other people or services. If I am in control of my online real estate then my promotional efforts and content are my responsibility and I have complete editorial control.
This does not take away from sites like Hubpages. It accentuates their use and one compliments the other. This is just one of the ways that you can take your business online, and actually have a real web presence.
If you don't want to be disappointed, get started with WordPress right away.
